IMPORTANT NOTICE

From 24 October to 11 December 2026 inclusive, the Main Hall will temporarily have a different layout due to a recurring television production. This may affect the available stage area and the options for lighting, scenery and setup. If you have an event or performance scheduled with us during this period, please get in touch with your usual contact person well in advance so we can discuss your technical requirements and the available options.

Here is a brief overview of the changes:

• Net stage area: 13 metres wide × 8 metres deep.
• No proscenium masking (manteaux), front curtain or masking legs.
• The stage floor will be raised by 20 cm and will remain covered with black dance flooring.
• A much more extensive standard lighting rig, consisting entirely of moving-head LED fixtures.
• Due to its weight, the ALP lift (MEWP) cannot be used. This means we cannot focus and/or gel fixtures once they are in position. </aside>

ABOUT THE VENUE

• Former swimming pool: 25 × 12 metres, with a load-bearing wooden floor
• Net stage area: 10 × 10 metres (stage floor: 13 metres wide, 14 metres deep)
• Retractable auditorium: 350 seats max (retracts via push-chain system)
• Floor load stage area: 500 kg/m²
• Floor load under the seating: 700 kg/m²
• Black masking all around; legs at 10–12 metres, borders at 6 metres

LOAD-IN / LOAD-OUT

Daguerrestraat 18 (load-in / load-out)

• Gate clearance: max height 260 cm, max width 240 cm
• The Main Hall loading dock is outdoors and is a covered platform on the first floor. You can use the electric hoist (max 1,000 kg) and, if needed, in combination with 2× scenery trolleys (max 750 kg)
• Maximum distance between the platform and the hoist hook: 207 cm
• Door from loading dock to the hall: width 235 cm, height 238 cm

Weimarstraat 63 (main entrance)

• Freight lift: depth 120 cm, width 100 cm, height 200 cm. Maximum payload: 400 kg

• 120 dimmers with a varied fixture inventory (fresnels, profiles, LED)
• Preset lighting plan — adjustable in consultation
• Modern digital lighting console
